I am thrilled to announce that I have been selected as one of the four finalists for National Teacher of the Year! This news is a blessing. It comes at a much-needed time. Over the last week, all anyone's been talking about in education in Oklahoma are the budget cuts. I'm happy this news serves as a positive headline for education.
